Are you up for a unique afternoon, filled with singing and music at a great location? For the opera performance Sun & Sea, O. festival is looking for Rotterdam based extras who want to volunteer to sunbathe, read a book, play badminton and otherwise enjoy O.’s very own beach!
Sun & Sea at O.
O. is the international festival for opera, music and theater in Rotterdam. This year O. will take place from the 20th to the 29th of May. In collaboration with Brutus and Revolt, O. presents Sun & Sea (winner of the Golden Lion, The Venice Biennale 2019). This groundbreaking opera performance is coming to a unique location in Rotterdam; Ferro (M4H).
Beach goers wanted!
The O. beach aims to be a reflection of Rotterdam and welcomes all shapes, sizes, and ages. That means bring your families, dogs, tattoos, and pregnant bellies. All are welcome. Just like your normal visit to the beach you are free to move around, chat, bring games, read magazines, or build a sand castle. Participation is voluntary, there is no expense allowance available.
Performances take place on:
Wednesday 25th May to Saturday 28th May from 14:00 – 18:00
Sunday 29th May from 12:00 – 16:00

Locatie
O. gebruikt haar stad als podium en decor. Veel voorstellingen zijn op onalledaagse en onontdekte locaties in de stad: pleinen, woonkamers, kerken, een oude wasserij, winkel, bovenop de Bijenkorf en zelfs een fitnesscentrum.
