The Rotterdamse Wijken Show is about unearthing Rotterdam’s story. Who determines what that is? What it sounds like, looks like? Various artists tell their own stories through dancing, singing, music, theatre and much more. Many wonderful and also the not-so-wonderful aspects of the city are revealed.

A raft of artists performs during the Rotterdamse Wijken Show. Think singer-songwriters, beatboxers, choirs, Bollywood dancers and other hidden treasures from the Rotterdam boroughs. Expect unique combinations of various disciplines and styles you have never experienced before.

In 2022, O. organised the first Rotterdamse Wijken Shows during the initial weeks following the lockdown in order to finally give many Rotterdam artists a chance to get back on stage.
