Australian / New York-based vocalist and interdisciplinary performer Sophia Brous premieres the new musical project ‘SET PIECES’ exploring suspended states in composition and improvisation, joined by the award-winning pianist, organist and ECM recording artist Kit Downes.
A musician, performance-maker, devising artist and curator, Brous creates new contemporary performance working with artists, festivals, concert houses and major events internationally, collaborating with artists including David Byrne, Marc Ribot, Leo Abrahams, Colin Stetson, Julia Holter and Oliver Coates.
