Late Night Lullabies: How do you sleep at night?

Musical melatonin as a homeopathic sleeping pill

Les Âmes Perdues

The music theatre collective Les Âmes Perdues (The Lost Souls) sings of sleep and sleeplessness as it goes on a turbulent trip along sweet, wet, and feverish dreams. A nocturne for the despairing adult. A sweet three-part harmony, hypnotic accordion sounds, and the rich deep tones of the cello helps them to create a world that resembles a derailed music box in How Do You Sleep at Night.

“Three talented multi-musicians who never shy away from audacious theatricality and new angles. Consummate audience-seducers.” – Tobias Kokkelmans (dramaturgy O.)

 On Late Night Lullabies
Late Night Lullabies are the perfect laidback finale of a festival day, filled with impressions and experiences. Allow yourself to be taken along by singers and musicians who usher in the night, each in their own way, during these semi-acoustic sessions. From secretive serenades, lullabies, and snooze-songs to jazzy nightclub ditties. A Late Night Lullabies session means you can sit down and relax…

“Following, among others, programmes around Kurt Weill and French chansons, the excellent classical musicians of Les Âmes Perdues (…) do not just prove how versatile they are; they also put paid to musical pigeonholing.”

Locatie
