The Flemish metal band Amenra has been producing a unique brand of post-metal for over 20 years. The five players create music that is dripping in spirituality. Their concerts are accompanied by intense video projections as well as rituals. Birth versus death, light versus dark. Amenra does not go for superficial themes and the result is all the more compelling. Amenra is more than ‘just a band’. It is a fellowship (called the Church of Ra) that has attracted many like-minded creative souls.
