F RAUW
Kaleidoscopic narrative encompassing four women on an island in the centre of Rotterdam
FRAU BAKKER, Buitenplaats Brienenoord, O.
On an island in the River Maas, FRAU BAKKER (MS BAKKER) alights with her musicians. In a desolate clearing between the trees the audience is sucked into a kaleidoscopic narrative that encompasses four women living on the margins of society. Their grip on existence has slowly slipped between their fingers as the ties that connect them wore thin. All they need to do is let go. F RAUW is a music theatre performance in which the lightness of being and the weight of existence intimately embrace each other.
“This fantastic Rotterdam music group takes you on an adventurous rollercoaster ride between genres and styles.” – Tobias Kokkelmans (dramaturgy O.)
A sign interpreter will be present at the performances on Sunday 29 August at 11 am and 2.30 pm.
