Traces of Antigone is een overschildering van Antigones oude mythe, die thema’s als gendergeweld en genderconstructie onderzoekt. Tot stand gekomen als reactie op de wereldwijde lockdown door het coronavirus, en de voortdurende dialoog over aanwezigheid (en afwezigheid). Voor het eerst in de recente geschiedenis is afzondering niet langer een vrouwelijke conditie. In zowel in de echte als virtuele ruimte presenteert ODC Ensemble, in een kring van vrouwen, een geheel nieuwe performatieve taal, die zij “theater van afzondering” noemen.
