Rigoletto
A tragedy that started as a comedy
DESCHONECOMPAGNIE & Comp. Marius (BE)
Rigoletto, the court jester of the king, is in a little boat on the river, holding a body bag. The corpse in the sack turns out to be not the person he had wanted assassinated. Confused, he tries to reconstruct the events that led up to this terrible fate. Two singers, two actors, and a pianist descend with him into a tragedy that started as a comedy.
