Recordings of the award-winning performances in the Music Theatre Now competition.

The MTNOW Award ceremony takes place at O. on Sunday 22 May. We are very honoured to be able to award these prestigious international music theatre/opera prizes during the festival and to show a number of award-winning productions within the context of the festival. The MTNOW Awards Show promises to be a wonderful evening. The winners will make their appearance and you can watch brief performances by festival acts and special guests.

The winners of the triennial Music Theatre Now competition were announced on 7 December 2021. According to the international jury, the selected productions and makers considerably push forward the boundaries of “the definition of music theatre”. All six represent a “communal experience”.
