Eva van Manen is a singer, songwriter, poet and music producer, moving between different disciplines and worlds. For her upcoming album, she travelled to Cairo, Egypt where she worked with artists from there on her new music. She was inspired by electro chaabi driving the metropolis at night, the sounds of Cairo and traditional music. With her music, she makes an in-between space between borders, multiple languages and cultures. A in-between space where she looks for what connects us as people rather than what sets us against each other. There she found a lightness as a remedy against the heaviness of current times.

During O., Eva will play music from her forthcoming album for the first time. Get ready for samples, rhythms, basses, drum loops, chaos and rap and melodies and vocal lines embroidered in gold.
