Club Gewalt celebrates her 10-year anniversary. Ten years of love, art, rock & roll and going on protest marches. Time for a party! Or perhaps, an interim evaluation? How rock & roll are you if you identify and condemn the (political) danger as an external phenomenon while failing to scrutinize your own individual and collective sins? On closer examination, the polyphony and diversity that are supposed to exist seem far from perfect. So let’s set to work. Redefine harmony, listen to the individual voices in the choir, and let’s all become better people!

A civilised circular sit-down birthday ‘party’ morphs into a sweaty arena where alternative forms of conflicts are settled. A killjoy performance that keeps anything but the peace. As ‘peace is for political pussies’ and harmony is for tone-deaf fascists. The party of the decade: FOMO guaranteed.

After the performances on Thu 25 to Sat 27 May, the evening in TR continues with Club O.! A surprising late night line-up, featuring live acts and DJs. Theater Rotterdam will become the latest nightclub in town where you can see performances and dance into the small hours. Co-hosts: Club Gewalt and Pride Rotterdam.
